We are excited to be a member of the Soccer Parent Resource Center, which offers FREE information to parents of youth athletes. Click the bar below to go to the site, register for FREE, and gain access to all the resources offered.

PARENT VOLUNTEER HOURS

The club adopted parent volunteer hours for several reasons, one specific reason was to get more parent involvement. This is your club! Up to this point, only a few people have been running it. However, it’s a big club and more people are needed to run it. Furthermore, we want you to feel a part of the club and to have some ownership of it. There are a number of parent volunteer opportunities throughout the year. We need volunteers to help at the Independence Cup (tournament), to clean and maintain the futsal facility, to mow and line soccer fields. These are just some of the major areas of need. Your coach or team manager should make you aware of upcoming opportunities.

When volunteering, print off the verification form, fill it out and have the club supervisor sign it, scan and email it to the volunteer hour coordinator at americanriverfutbolclub@gmail.com.

Volunteer hours are scheduled to be charged in October. Four hours of service per registered player are expected. If you completed your hours (or some of them) prior to October, you will not be charged. The fee will be waived. If you complete them after October, you will be reimbursed. This will happen quarterly, unless there is a large event with a number of volunteers.
